Hey readers! I'll get straight to the point about the Razer Ferox, a pair of chic portable speakers that I've owned since early 2012 and still use today (they're in great shape). Firstly there are many cheaper speakers available that are small in size and may offer better sound quality.
However, my reasons to get the Ferox?
The Razer Ferox is uniquely designed. Razer calls it the "360 degrees omni-directional sound" but it's really just spitting out music in all directions because of its circular body. I personally love the appearance. It's conservative enough to not be "geeky" but different enough to not look like boring old speakers. The bottom LED adds a nice touch to it as well. Go impress your friends!
The Razer Ferox is also very loud and portable. I personally travel around a lot and grab the Ferox anywhere I would take my laptop to (though I even plug them into my iphone sometimes). I've gotten many compliments for my unusual speakers and "wow they light up". Batteries have lasted me for up to twelve hours as Razer claimed. The cords are detachable on all ends making them easy to store and the Ferox also comes with a very chic carrying case.
Why you wouldn't like the Ferox? I'm not an audio expert, I enjoy most things I hear and the Ferox is fantastic for me but the Ferox don't really have a great bass for you audiophiles. My friends tell me the sounds in general are awesome though. You can't expert superb quality from such small devices anyway. Just get some nice equalizer software on your music player or computer and it'll be pretty awesome already!
They are pretty expensive though. I bought mine for $44.99. Razer are renowned for expensive products. General information can be found on the Razer site linked above or Amazon (where I recommend you buy from as they're cheaper).
In the end, you should buy it if you're looking for:
Some Reagents, bubbling away!
